Tour Highlights:
8:00 AM – Meet at Tokyo Station
- Start your day by meeting your private guide at Tokyo Station. Together, you’ll travel by express train or highway bus to Kawaguchiko (~2.5 hours).
10:30 AM – Arrival in Kawaguchiko
- Get off the train and stretch your legs—welcome to Fuji Five Lakes country.
10:45 AM – Mt. Kachi Kachi Ropeway
- Take a scenic ride to a hilltop lookout for a postcard-perfect view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. Your guide will share the folk tale of the tanuki and rabbit that inspired the area’s name.
11:30 AM – Oishi Park & Herb Hall
- Stroll through seasonal flower gardens (lavender in summer, cosmos in fall) with uninterrupted views of Mt. Fuji. Explore the small Herb Hall and grab some Fuji-themed souvenirs.
12:30 PM – Lunch by the Lake
- Dine at a local restaurant specializing in Hōtō noodles, a Kawaguchiko specialty of thick, flat noodles served in miso broth with seasonal vegetables. (Meal not included.)
1:30 PM – Kawaguchiko Museum of Art or Music Forest Museum (Optional)
- Choose your cultural stop: admire local and Fuji-themed art at the Museum of Art, or enjoy whimsical music boxes and performances at the Music Forest.
3:00 PM – Lakeside Walk & Local Sweets
- Stroll along the north shore and enjoy traditional sweets or soft serve at one of the cafés. On clear days, Mt. Fuji reflects on the lake’s surface—a great photo spot.
4:15 PM – Departure from Kawaguchiko Station
